Westerra Credit Union (Westerra) has partnered with the Colorado Rockies for the second annual Teachers First Pitch event, celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week (May 6 – 11). One deserving Colorado-based K-12 educator will be honored with the ceremonial first pitch at the Rockies game against the San Diego Padres at Coors Field on May 9. Nominations are now open through April 30, and students, parents, colleagues and community members are encouraged to submit an exceptional teacher who goes above and beyond in the classroom.
